Driver's Seat | The Emerging Middle Market Is Scaling Faster Than Its Financial Stack

Uncover new intelligence from the PYMNTS–i2c research initiative that defines the fast‑rising “emerging middle market.” As emerging middle‑market companies race from $1M to $50M in revenue, they hit a critical breaking point: operational complexity accelerates, but financial infrastructure lags behind. Cash flow volatility, limited access to flexible credit and fragmented payments systems slow momentum—despite strong growth ambitions and market opportunity.

Join this session to explore what these companies actually need to scale smarter—from real‑time cash visibility and integrated financial infrastructure to more adaptive funding models. The conversation will spotlight where incumbents fall short, where fintech innovation is breaking through, and why solving for this segment represents one of the biggest, most under‑served opportunities in financial services today.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Accelerate is taking place May 18-20, 2026, at The Fairmont hotel in San Francisco. We'd love it if you joined us on Sunday, May 17 for an evening reception before the real work begins on May 18.

This isn't like any old industry conference...and we mean it! An invite-only experience targeting C-suite executives, Accelerate captures our core promise—speed-to-market, modular innovation, and real-time, partner-led execution—so teams leave not just inspired, but ready to launch faster.

Please try to arrive on Sunday, May 17 so that you can join us for the Welcome Reception. The hotel is paid for through Wednesday morning checkout, so please plan to depart then.

There is a registration button on the homepage of this website, or you can view the registration form by clicking here.

Registration and attendance at Accelerate is completely free - we'll handle the hotel accommodations and your meals during the conference. Included in your registration is the Sunday Welcome Reception, breakfast and lunch on Monday (18th) and Tuesday (19th), as well as dinner at the Awards Gala on Monday evening.

The conference rate is available beginning Friday, May 15 and extends to the following Friday, May 22. Rooms are $349 per night plus taxes and fees and subject to availability at the hotel. Should you wish to stay a bit longer, please indicate this in the reservation process.

For meetings, business casual would be the way to go. For the Awards Gala on the evening of May 18, dress your best! Cocktail attire is recommended. San Francisco can still be a bit chilly in May, so be sure to bring layers.

Your spouse is welcome to come with you to the hotel and to the awards gala; however, we'd like all general sessions to be business only!
